such a cliff hanger though, who did she actually choose??

    aaah
    xoxoxx

  2. Eva on March 26th, 2009

    pure shit… :(

  3. Danny on March 26th, 2009

i think it was good. but not upto skins standards. if that makes sense?

    it was a good episode
and i know you shouldnt compare to the first 2 series but think back to the first series finale

it was amazing. and it left you wanting more

but in this series it finished with everything happy and ok
it was a good episode though. WASNT THE ACTING AMAZING!

  4. Katty on March 26th, 2009

I gonna have to disagree on this one I thought it was really not thought out well and seem to have just pass you by, I think they did wrong by holy focusing on the triangle and excluding the other characters It just didn’t seem or feel like a Skins finale episode which are normally epic, ending on something good to give us wanting more for next series this felt very much like a filer episode, it would have been fine if was a episode earlier or in the middle of the series but it was just not what i expected which makes me sad as the series has improve so much as it went on for it to go like that really ruined it for me.

  5. Hayley on March 26th, 2009

I think it’s like marmite you either love it or hate it! I gonna be honest and say no I didn’t think it was the best, nor what I thought they would do, I really wasn’t feeling it and didn’t care who effy chooses, but you can’t get everything you want so I guess try look at the positive you never know it might grow on you or not!

  6. Liam on March 26th, 2009

It was average at best! The series started out really badly I thought compared to series 1 & 2 but got really exciting as it went on and Episode 9 was probably the best, then they end it like this? Is it just me who thinks Freddie’s character is so unrealistic? Anyway I hope they make series 4 more exciting and possibly get some of the old characters back!

  7. Crystal on March 26th, 2009

It was a let down in all honesty, compared to the rest of the series..I personally couldn’t care about the love triangle, never have..but if we HAD to have a resolution, I think Effy doing the decent thing & choosing NONE of them would’ve been a far better ending, or putting the twins episode last would’ve been better OR EVEN BETTER..have the entire cast in the finale.
Great series & I’m looking forward to the next one but thought the finale was a bit bland & predictable, too much so for Skins.

  8. dan d on March 26th, 2009

it was good. but where were emily and katie, they’re my favourite. but yeah a good way to end the season

  9. volchok on March 26th, 2009

    well i agree with danny….

you can’t even compared this 3th season to the previous seasons. this was a very very poor season…episode 8 was brilliant but the rest were all very shitty…. the finale was average…it made me like Cook a lot more, that is for sure.

I really like the fact that it ends in some sort of ambiguous tone…There is no way that cook would be 100% ok with effy and freddie being together…

I have to say: amazing performance by jack O’Connell. his facial expression when he is holding the keys to the boat is priceless….amazing acting…

  10. HeyBishop on March 26th, 2009

I liked it, didn’t love it. You see, fortunately for me I had the right expectations, so I wasn’t disappointed. For me the emotional conclusion of series 3 was last week. It concluded everything I had my heart invested in already. I had it in my mind that it was probably only going to be Effy and the Three Musketeers. So again, I wasn’t disappointed.

I must say though, JJ totally owned this episode. He was in such control, and I was totally cheering for him in that race. It was such a good laugh. I had an awesome time watching it.
    Now, it’s time to wait…. a long….. long…. ten months.

  11. Chris on March 26th, 2009

    It was god awful.
I’ve never been left so emotionless and unmoved by a skins episode to date. I hated Cook’s episode, but at least when it was over, I was able to take in how much I dislike about the character. The finale, ironically named “Everyone,” just sort of flew over my head. Nothing happened, at all, and it had no emotion, at all. A bunch of flashy rave lights and a few thrown punches doesn’t make an episode interesting.

I can’t even take in how terrible that was, and I can’t take in that we have to wait an entire year before we can actually see some more. Couldn’t they have just left us on a high note? Now I’m going to have a bad memory of series three imprinted on my mind.

And P.S. The cut to black ending worked for series two, but it should have only been for series two.

  12. Cassidy on March 26th, 2009

I thought it was a phenomenal episode, but not necessarily a fun or entertaining or suspenseful episode. Like, I think it was a really important story, but just no good for a series finale.

  13. Ash on March 27th, 2009

    O-h-No =( I don’t want LAST episode!!!

  14. ChingChing on March 27th, 2009

it was great that all 3 of them are friends and there’s some peace now; but like others have said i just don’t care about this love triangle and so i wasn’t too fond of the ending.

irrelevant but my guess was that cook was going to leave/run away at the end leaving effie torn between staying with freddie or going with cook. guess i was wrong! i only hope this mediocre 3some ties up soon into the fourth series. it’s not just very interesting.

  15. volchok on March 27th, 2009

also i dont mind the fac that they centered the finale on the cook ,freddie and effy since i pretty much dislike all the other characters. they’re the only ones who are interesting.

  16. chloe on March 27th, 2009

i loved it !! =) i cant wait till next yr, it was a good ending am glad effy picked freddie coz she loves him and all the series had AMAZING ACTING in all of the episodes. i am also glad that it was just freddie, effy, cook and jj coz they are all so very interesting and funny.=)

  17. rachel on March 27th, 2009

if u have not see the making of skins series 3 u should go on e4 and watch it its so funny at the endi promise that u willl laugh =)

  18. mel on March 27th, 2009

    That was so shit…
I can’t believe that an episode entitled ‘everyone’ only had 4 freaking characters in it…… the whole cooks dad thing should have been brought up in his own episode, definitely not suitable for a finale.

I kept pausing it and doing other stuff because it was just too boring to watch.

  19. nikki on March 27th, 2009

i was expecting a bit more from the finale. it had the potential to be amazing, but i think by the time the end of the series came round, everyone was bored by the whole freddie/cook/effy thing. It was going round in circles, in my opinion. and i didn’t even understand how it ended or what the conclusion was? Overall, the series was a bit of a disappointment i think. It just didnt go anywhere? But i still watched it and found myself looking forward to it every week. On the positive side, Freddie is possibly the hottest thing to come out of British television (y)

  20. Fish. on March 27th, 2009

Worst finale of the 3 series and it was the worst episode out of series 3. Wasn’t good.

  21. Joe on March 27th, 2009

I thought that the last episode was great. I especially liked the bit where Cook started crying, As I actually felt sorry for him. Also just before the ending I thought Cook was going to say it was ok for Freddie to be with Effy then Freddie went and finnished the episode off. Cliff hanger or what!!! third series they’ve done this to me. Looking forward to series 4 a lot now, bring on 2010

  22. Devvy on March 27th, 2009

I thought it was really good, but i would have preferred for them to have gone back and seen what would happen with katie and effy,
and then could include all the characters.
but oh well i still think it was great!

  23. Tammy on March 27th, 2009

I LOVE Freddie and Effy. I disagree with most of you in that their love wasn’t all that really unexpected and forced. From day one, he fell for her and when he stood up and said he met a beautiful girl you can tell she liked him too. Effy NEVER looks at Cook like the way she looks at Freddie and with the exception of episode 9 and Effy’s absence, there’s never been an episode where they haven’t been staring at each other from across the room with that sort of longing. Anyways, I didn’t like the finale all too much because it was very boring. I know Skins is all about artsy film shots but there were way too much shots of landscapes and too little important dialogue or actual character interaction. I hate that they left it in a sort of cliffhanger although you know that there is no way Effy would choose Cook over Freddie espeically when she called Freddie just to say she can’t help Cook because she’s in love with Freddie. Plus, when JJ made her decide, she kept her eyes on Freddie and was about to speak before Cook left the room. I guess it all depends on whether Freddie loves her enough to finally man up hurt JJ.

  24. Tammy on March 27th, 2009

**ANd by JJ at the last sentence there, I meant Cook. Well, JJ too if their friendship is broken.

  25. Charlotte on March 27th, 2009

I agree with Mel, why give the episode the title ‘everyone’ when you’ve got 4 of the main gang. Over half of them are left back in Bristol.

Plus I think it would have been better to bring Cook and Effy back to Bristol or take the whole of the group to where ever they were and have like mini stories for each of them. The whole Effy/Cook/Freddie triangle is just getting boring.

  26. Noelia on March 27th, 2009

I think the actor who plays Cook did an AMAZING JOB ! I kinda understand Cook now and i felt relly sorry for him … everyone he loves let him down, and i think he REALLY loves Effy … aven moer than Freddie, dont know why … but i think that, he cares about her, and mentioned her as the “one” .. it was sad for me that she didnt picked him …

I dont know what its going to happen now … she is with Freddie, but Cook stills love her so … next season maybe we will have more of that. And that reminds me that 10 episodes is NOT enough! I have to wait almost a year again? :(

IT was sad to not be able to see the whole cast like, how is Katie going to react that Freddie is dating Effy now and everything? She almost killed her ….

  27. Sophia on March 27th, 2009

I agree that Effy should of picked none of them. That would have made the ending so much better.

And yes the acting amazing. Im always impressed that these actors with no experience are way better then most actors with experience.

Overall, it wasn’t an amazing ending. The season did progress from the beginning, again not as good as previous seasons but im still going to keep watching, because i love skins. And im looking forward to season 4.

  28. Francine on March 27th, 2009

Anti-climactic. I was never fond of the Effy-Cook-Freddie thing, it just seemed kind of tired. I mean the storyline was pretty much transparent, and whenever these three get stuck in an episode together it’s almost as if all that Skins wit and charm we know and love goes right out the window. The episode didn’t strike me as a ‘finale’ type of episode. It could’ve been any episode actually. Episode 9 struck me as sort of a finale and this seemed like it would’ve been more fitting as a season opener or something

  29. Jen on March 27th, 2009

Well, I was slightly dissapointed… It was kinda blah. I’m sooo happy that she picked Freddie though, it’s just meant to be, I think everyone should just accept it REALLY. Series four – can’t wait! I think they’re really going to step it up a notch, series 1 and 2 were a little bit more intense than series 3 was. Either way, amazing show. Finale was a little blah, but either way I’m glad she picked Freddie.

  30. polaricecaps on March 28th, 2009

Well, i definitely prefer series 1 and 2 but that’s just bound to happen when they switch up the cast after only two seasons…that being said i did really enjoy this episode…i know it didnt focus on EVERYONE, but who cares…why do people seem so enthralled with this whole twin/naomily plot line…yuck, they’re boring…effy and cook are the shizzzz

  31. latke on March 28th, 2009

    Crap.

I wish they never replaced the Series 1 and 2 characters. In fact, it would have been better not to do a third series at all if they wouldn’t keep them.

Very disappointed by entire series. Thought it was improving marginally until we had to go back to Effy, who is just boring to watch.

Bring back Jal, Sid, Maxxie, Anwar (ok, so maybe he might be a bit expensive now), Chris (can we pretend he didn’t die?) and the rest of the old brilliant cast.

P.s. I dunno what happened to the writers between the two Skins generations, but they should get the old ones back.

  32. Martyn on March 28th, 2009

Personally with it being the last episode i thought it would have been better if all the characters of the group were included in some way.. with one part of the story with cook in his random village with the other 3. and then the rest of the characters doing something where they live.

  33. laul on March 28th, 2009

The finale was alright not as rubbish as Cook’s episode, but still not the best. I strongly agree with the people who are saying that it was titled “Everyone” and should of had everyone in it. Whats really annoyed me about this season, is that it’s mostly been about Freddie, Cook and Effy. Every single episode has something about them in it. When you’ve got characters like Pandora who are amazing, who never really get any screen time.
The best episode in the series was ep 9 (the twins) that was brilliant, there was so many different emotions in their episode, anger, upset, fear, love, happiness, revenge. You name it, it probably had it.
If that had of been the season finale then fans would of left pining for the next series.
I can’t believe we have to wait about 10 months, to see what happens with all the characters.
    anyway love skins,

  34. Jonathan on March 29th, 2009

I think this was the worst episode of all the series, it waqs not at all like a Skins finale, it could have worked if it was not the finale, but it would still have been the worst one. I think that they could have made this Cook’s and Effy’s episode, or something like that, and made one last episode when they returned to Bristol. I am so tired of the love-triangle, as someone stated above; it goes around in circles, I prefer Emily and Naomi.

I loved the acting though, both in the last episode and n the entire series. It seems impossible that so inexperienced actors can do such a good job.

  35. Dmitri K on March 29th, 2009

Episode 9 should have finished with a cliff hanger and should therefore have been the last episode.

Episode 10 would have worked for a filler episode, but then I’m not really interested in Cook, Freddie & Effy but love Emily, Naomi & JJ.

  36. Joe on March 29th, 2009

Just wanted to point out to all who have coplained that the last episode was called everyone but only had 4 characters. Well according to the episode guide on the official e4 website episode 10 doesn’t have a specific name with episode one being entitled everyone. Just thought I’d point it out. Will deffinitely be getting the DVD boxset of this when it comes out to go with 1 and 2. I hope that in 4 we maybe see some of the original cast more. Jim Stonem needs to appear more as he just disapeared , but is absolutely hilarious. It’d be nice to see everyone else aswell like they’d come back from Uni on hols or something. just my oppinion

  37. Joe on March 29th, 2009

also I thought that the bit when Karen and JJ walked in on Freddie masturbating was hilarious.

  38. narbo on March 30th, 2009

Most of my reactions have already been made by others. This episode seemed mediocre as many have this series. Episode 9 would have been a good finale as it was one of the best of series 3. It was disappointing that Effy has become somewhat less in control and more passive. No doubt acting has been good in all episodes. But I can’t help comparing to other series’ last episodes especially the classic first series when all characters were involved. Even the second series’ closer seemed to be redeeming after several dark episodes.
That being said, I remain a loyal Skins’ fan and look forward to series 4. Bringing back some of the “old timers” could certainly make things interesting.

  39. Contempo on March 30th, 2009

I didn’t even finished to watch that episode because it was soooooo boriiiing and cliche!

  40. emma on March 31st, 2009

as a major skins fan i was very guteed. i thought the last episode was lame. maybe even the worst episode of skins ever. i didnt find it emotional in away. and quite frankly now im not that excited to see series 4. which is a damn shame!!!

  41. josie on April 4th, 2009

i dunno… i thought it was a good eppisode… but not an end of series eppisode. i’m sorry but. look at the other two endings. tonys bus and the whole chris thing. those were real endings. this just sort of seemed to… stop… i’m hoping the next series will be better

  42. b on April 11th, 2009

i really didn’t like it. the whole series had this immature undertone to it; everything [with the exception of the fantastic pandora] revolved around getting “totally, totally fucked” or the effy/cook/freddie triangle. i mean, really. it got tired, to say the least. no one was really friends, yet all they did was hang out: remember series one and two? everyone had their lives outside of the group. it made them just that much more interesting, to feel their realistic emotions properly, effortlessly. this series felt much more mainstream, too: whereas series one and two’s episodes were a snapshot of their lives, in this reality-show kind of way, series three was plot and drama driven. considering the standards we’re expecting of skins, it didn’t make for much riveting viewing.
here’s hoping series four saves it!

  43. claire on April 17th, 2009

i thought everyone was going on about being it rubbish, but it ended in a true skins style. No cheesiness, just food for thought. A whole 2 minutes of them just sitting on the boat looking at eachother.
    Brilliant :)
    Bring on series 4

  44. rane on May 8th, 2009

I was actually expecting that all of them is in the finale. Like the past seasons of Skins. Unfortunately, It was just the story of the love triangle of Freddie, Cook, Effy and JJ. It was good though but not great enough to be hangover with the ending. I was more attached in Episode 9. The story of Naomi and Emily. I was really into their story. It was an explosion feeling in a good way. I have butterflies in my stomach whenever they in each episode.

  45. Amy on June 2nd, 2009

    First of all,
the old skins characters need to be brought back in for atleast one episode,
we as viewers should atleast be able to rest easy at night known were the characters that made skins so popular are at in there life.
I feel that a wedding of tony and michelle would go lovely,
with then finding out that jall(however her name is spelt) did NOT abort her baby with chris,
effie should bring fred to the wedding and tony loves him!
    just like everyone else should,
effie and freddie are meant to be
so for the bloggers asking for them not to be and more excitment or whatever!
    YOU ARE WRONG,
if effie is not to end up with him, the show we go down hill. and you can trust me on this
as a skins number 1 fan along with others i no that we watch every second holding onto our seets waiting for them to end up together, waiting for cook to say ITS OKAY.
so for god sakes give us that!
maybe at first there should be some tension some exciitment or whatever as long as they end up together your ratings will end up high!
as for those who dont want skins, how about you get of this website then. You clearly care/like it enough to comment about it so shut the F*** up:) ( are we aloud to swear on here?)
AS THOSE WHO DONT LIKE EFFY, people the show is about effys life mainly
she comes from the old skins, she can not be killed offf!
    SO DROP THAT.

so lets go over this again
-old characters come bak! for atleast one episode so were all at peace with the fact they’ve moved on with great lives, tony should also show some love to effy. help her out abit with her life. show his love for freddie like the rest of us!
-the lezbians should stay in it! ADD ANOTHER GIRL add some jelousy in
    - freddie should try and make effy jelous pushing her away then he does something so cute forcing us to all fall bak inlove with him! along with her They must end up together or trust me you will loose valuable viewers FREDDIE AND EFFY GO. they will make history
-freddies dad needs to die or the sister! either way. but they need to learn that they can not treat freddie this way. GO JOIN HIS MUM, home wreckers
-FREDDIE NEEDS TO FIGHT SOMEONE FOR EFFY OH GOD THAT WOULD BE HOT
    more sex more drugs!
and you’ll keep your top viewers we loved season 3 everything about it
but effy and feddie need to be togetherr.!
    love your number ONE VIEWERS!
