You might remember the Makers of Skins asking fans to take part in a short film they where doing by auditioning, designing and directing something they personally created. Well this is the result a short film called Brink, written, directed and designed by fans who won the competition. enjoy!
Last year we decided to Recruit and reward some brand spanking new talent, by asking you the fans skins to create something for us.
The prize was for one writer, director, costume and set designer to work with Company Pictures (the makers of Skins) on a short film that would be shown on the web. More than that though, the reward was about mentoring and nurturing that new talent, by giving them the opportunity to work with a talented, experienced team; and even to work on the set of skins 3 for a week or two. We recruited our talent via this very website, telling you the fan skins that you needed, and asking you to get involved. Even Rachel (Gemma Salusbury) applied here (she was also an also ran for series 3 after auditioning at a skins party, but narrowly missed out.) The winners were chosen late last year.
