An Original Article includes a pair of pants Tony actually wears about his person, a rather delicious necklace that Michelle accessories with; the bag Cassie uses to keep her ‘medication’ in, and the trousers Maxxie’s wearing when he’s dancing the light fantastic in the series II trailer. Yep, original articles are collector’s items. And we’re giving them away all over the shop.

Series Two DVD Release on April 21st

My requests:

1) Can Channel 4 please pay to include all of the brilliant music that is in each episode? The makers couldn’t afford to include it all last series.

2) Some more backstage videos. I personally found the crew blogs really interesting and I’m sure there was plenty of out-take shots and backstage videos - much like the trailer behind the scenes video.

Toby, the editor of the site told me earlier that after each episode premieres there will be a full track-listing of the episode plus some exclusive tracks that we can stream from the site that Alex, the Skins music supervisor has chosen.

I’m praying that they actually keep this going and it doesn’t become something that fades out at the end of series two.

You lucky people. Ahead of the long-awaited premiere of Skins 2 on E4, we’re bringing you the opportunity to see episode 1 before anyone else right here on E4.com and our official Skins home on MySpace.
We can’t announce exactly when this will be taking place, but from Wednesday (30th Jan) onwards we’ll provide you with all the details you’ll need. What we can tell you right now is that you will be able to watch episode 1 of Skins series II in four instalments at the Skins MySpace before anyone else.

To see the whole show in one place, stay right here with Skins on E4.com, because we’ll be showing it in its entirety the night before it’s screened on E4.

So make sure you return from Wednesday onwards to find out exactly when and how the Online Premieres will take place. Until then, have a lie down, because with all of this Skins action taking place, you’re likely to do yourself an injury.

Calling all Skins fans…

Unless you’ve been stuck in the Big Brother house, or ‘finding yourself’ on some gap year or other, you may have noticed that Skins series II is just around the corner. And this year, there’s another way for you to fuel your addiction for all things Skins, with the Skins Podcast; or the ‘Skinscast’ as we’ve so cleverly called it.
Skinscast what?

The Skinscast is going to be for you, the dedicated, discerning Skins fans. It’s going to be so crammed with Skins stuff that we had to make up a new word and everything. Yes, it’s special alright. It’s going to delve into the episode you’ve just seen on your tellybox, and provide exclusive interviews with the Skins lot. We’ll be getting to know them a little bit better and finding out all the behind the scenes gossip and drama that you wouldn’t otherwise hear of.
This is how it’s going to work: each week once the episode has premiered on E4, you’ll be able to download the new podcast via E4.com. The podcast will discuss the episode you’ve just seen and delve deeper into the characters’ storyline.

As well as that, we’re going to be passing over the interview mic to you and getting you to ask the questions to the Skins cast. So you get to put the questions across to the cast that you really need answering. Like, how does Joe Dempsie (Chris) feel about his character getting his kit off on a regular basis? And who would Mike Bailey (Sid) say was his ideal woman – Hannah (Cassie) or April (Michelle)? Ok, maybe they’re just the questions we would like answering, but you get the gist.
This podcast is for you to become even more acquainted with Skins, and actually ask some of the questions yourself. For each question submitted you’ll be entered into a draw to win an exclusive prop stolen from the Skins set. These props are complete one-offs, so collectible that they’re vacuum packed - so get on with it and submit a question!

For your chance to be heard on the podcast and be in with a chance of winning a prop, all you have to do is drop us an email at skins@e4.com, with the title ‘Skinscast question’, with your question and the following details:

Phone number (so we can call you back and get your question recorded). If it’s easier, just copy and paste these fields into the email to make sure you’ve got everything covered.
Everyone who enters will be put forward for the draw, and you can submit as many questions as you would like – you don’t even have to have your question selected for the podcast to be entered for the draw. But to make this podcast as riveting as the show we suggest you ask the questions you know you’re going to want the answer to, and not just ‘what’s Maxxie’s favourite colour?’

The winner will be selected at random from all the entries and you will have 24 hours to respond to the notification you have won. If you do not respond then an alternative winner will be selected. We’re sorry but you must be over 18 to enter. Because you will be entered in the draw, you’ll need to take a look at our terms and conditions and privacy policy before you email.
