I just spotted Daniel Kaluuya in a new BBC 3 sitcom pilot called Delta Forever, I think its on again later, it mite appear on the BBCIPlayer, anyway heres a little summary of whats it about

New Drama about the online fans of a series of novels about teen-hero Delta. A film studio holds a secret preview screening in London of the first movie adaptation of the series. Strong language

Hey guys,

Sorry for the complete lack of updates lately. I’ve just been so stupidly busy what with me finishing school and sorting out what I’m doing for the rest of my life.

However I am working hard on a new version of the site, plus loads of other stuff so I will do a bucket load of updates soon.

‘Skins’ "orgy" poster deemed indecent:

A billboard poster for Skins, which featured Michelle in her underwear and other characters “in various stages of undress”, was indecent and should not have been used, advertising regulators have decided.

In the advert, Michelle, the character played by April Pearson in the teen drama, is sitting on the edge of a bed with dishevelled hair and smudged eye make-up. Sid (Mike Bailey) is in the background, sitting up in the bed naked, with a pillow over his crotch.

Several other couples are embracing at Michelle’s feet, also naked or in their underwear.

About ten people complained to the Advertising Standards Agency about the poster – most saying it was offensive and unsuitable to be seen by children.Others said it could be seen as condoning underage sex.

Channel 4 defended the posters saying that Skins “clearly depicted the consequences of hedonistic and irresponsible behaviour”. The relationship between Michelle and Sid was “ultimately empty”, said the broadcaster, while it took care not to place the adverts near schools. It added that all the characters involved were over 18.

Though it rejected the complaints about underage sex, the ASA said the poster breached its code. “We considered that the image, showing characters from the programme embracing in varying states of undress, implied that an orgy was taking place,” said the regulator in a statement today.

“We concluded that the poster could cause serious or widespread offence to those who saw it and was unsuitable to be used in a medium where it could be seen by children.

“The ASA rejected complaints about another poster that showed character Tony (Nicholas Hoult) lying under the water in a bath, leaving it “unclear whether he was dead or alive”. Some were concerned the image was offensive, distressing and could be copied by children.

Skins and Music have a very close relationship and we’ve got a pretty good track record when it comes to picking new music and bringing unsigned bands to a wider audience.

However, we think we can do a bit more and this is what we’ve got planned…

We have set up a record label called SkinsLife Records – a new music label from the makers of Skins. Basically it’s another way we can give a boost to bands we think deserve recognition for what they do. We will provide a decent musical home for bands we love and give them a springboard towards a big record deal.Sound good? We certainly think so. It will be a download only label with some special limited edition Vinyl runs on selected tracks. It will be affordable, independent and will cover every genre of Music imaginable.

Let us know what you think and get ready for the arrival of SkinsLife Records – there will be lots more coming soon including chances to play at showcase gigs, soundtrack and play in Skins Series 3 episodes and, of course, release your music to a wider audience…

Skins Cast attended THAT FACE Party
