Skins 2008 Wall Calendar:

According to the Calendar Club, there will be a 2008 Skins Calendar. Im not sure how true this is as the website does not have any pictures on it available yet.

But if you follow this link here you shall see.

Hopefully there will be a Calendar.

If I hear anymore news on this and if pics become available to see on the Calendar I shall post them up on here.

SERIES 2 SPOILER WARNING!

IF YOU’RE A SKINS FAN AND DONT WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN SERIES 2, DON’T READ ON.

The hugely popular, zeitgeist-capturing Skins is back for its second series on E4 in February, this time running for ten episodes.

Here’s a shocker (not): Tony is alive. Hurrah! The new series is set six months after the conclusion of the last – and Tony is a changed man, in fact a shadow of the man his best mate Sid always looked up to.

As for Sid, he finally got together with Cassie in the missing six months, only for her parents to whisk her away to Scotland. All Cassie can dream of is one day returning to Sid and for them to live happily ever after…. aww! Hang on, there’s a whole series to fill! Let’s assume it isn’t as simple as that.

Michelle has family troubles of her own. Her mother has married another man (bye bye, Danny Dyer), in the process bestowing her with a randy step-sister who keeps trying it on with all of her mates.

Another shock now – Maxxie actually has a family! His dad’s giving him grief over his ambitions to follow his dreams and be a dancer. Best friend Anwar has bagged himself a secret girlfriend…

Jal is also a changed character. She’s decided to ditch the good girl image and let her hair down for a change.

Finally, poor Chris. Having been expelled, he’s now resolved to step out on his own and make his way in the big wide world.

Can February come soon enough?

A few of you may have noticed (or even brought tickets to!) a party in Leicester being billed as a Skins Secret Party. We needed to let you know that this is nothing to do with us, and that it’s totally unofficial. We’ll be doing lots more great Skins stuff around Series 2 so hang fire for that.

Skins : Complete Series 2?

Astonishing Series 2 is apparently on pre order at Amazon even thought its not yet finished filming or even aired! and its being released in March 2008 I don’t know if this a mistake on Amazon’s part but is looks like its not so go figure!

C4 will take ‘Skins’ to digital radio:

Channel 4 will take television dramas including Skins onto its digital radio stations, according to director of radio Nathalie Schwarz.

Schwarz was elaborating on plans to challenge the BBC with its new channels E4 Radio, Channel 4 Radio and Pure4. E4 Radio, aimed at teenagers and young adults, will launch first, next July.

Schwarz said it would succeed by providing a “less stuffy” version of BBC Radio 4. She said popular series including Skins would cross over to radio.

She added: “We have spoken to 14,000 people about their attitudes towards radio and have come to the conclusion that commercial radio needs to take more risks in terms of content.”

Because we a bit flat on news at the moment I thought I’ll post this a member over at Skinsis.com has posted some info, I’m not sure if this is true, so please take it with a pinch of salt at the moment but it sounds interesting anyway here goes;

the first episode is maxxies.
it starts with him walking around a rough bristol estate and then he gets beaten up by some homophobic chavs

theres a new girl (whos name i dont quite remember – flo or something) and shes quite big (as in overweight…)

theres a new guy called stretch i think, and hes a bit of a party animal (sounds like chris tbh)
